Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War question?

I have Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, and all 3 of the expansions (Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm). I was wondering. Do I play each game seperately (like say if I had all 4 icons on the desktop) would I play the original, then winter assault, then dark crusade, and then soulstorm. Or could I straight away start with the latest expansion and still get all the campaign stuff from the earlier games and everything else? Or does each game have to be played seperately?Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War question?
About the Single Player Campaign:

each game/expansion has his own sequence of missions OR Risiko-looking map to complete, so they all have their different game launcher;



Single Player Skirmish:

you can play with all races until the ones introduce by the expansion (Dark Crusade = no Sisters%26amp;Darks)



MULTIPLAYER GAMING:

to play a game online, you have to introduce the serial number of each expansion to play the races introduced online. For example, if you ain't got Winter Assault, you'll not be able to play with the IG.

As you say you have all 4 games, you just have to introduce each serial number when creating an online account to play with all 9 races.

I also have all of the Dawn of war collection except for soulstorm, and even though it would be nice to be able to do that, from what I've seen you can'tWarhammer 40,000: Dawn of War question?
well im not exactely sure but i know that each game has a little diffrent story and game play so if you want to play each game you have to do it in each seperate games

Steam/Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition help?

Me and a friend bought the Warhammer platinum edition, which came with DoW Gold and Dark Crusade. I had to redownload my Gold because I had the same problem that I am currently having.



When I click play in Steam for DoW Gold, a error message screen appears saying,

"System Initialization failed!

ERRORS: Could not find the required data. Make sure you are running this utility from your Dawn of War directory."



And then the Dawn of War Graphics Configuration window appears and has a blank screen. I can't do anything except hit cancel.



What am I doing wrong? I have an HP Palvilion g6.Steam/Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition help?
All you need to do is create a new folder called "Data" within your %26lt;DoW Root Dir%26gt;\GraphicsOptions\ folder.

How are the mods for Warhammer 40k made?

I always see mods available for download for Warhammer 40k dawn of war (I not II) like the ones that make tyranids, wittchhunters and several new units available for play. What software is used to design those models?How are the mods for Warhammer 40k made?

Well if you are into Warhammer then I suggest Warhammer Online, I'm in the closed beta and there is some really cool stuff in there that I really don't see myself getting bored with anytime soon. The release date is Sept. 18th, you should look into it.

It all depends on what you are interested in. Dawn of War is a great game. It is kind of like Command and Conquer. On the other hand role playing games are very fun but you do the same thing over and over again. You just level up and level up. If you wanna start something you will never get bored of start the table top game that dawn of war copied from.
