How can i remove Steam and keep playing warhammer down of war 2?

I'd like to uninstall steam, but when i do this, dow stops working. is there a way to solve this?How can i remove Steam and keep playing warhammer down of war 2?
I'm fairly certain the answer is no. It depends if you bought DoW through steam or if you have it on CD.



If you bought it through steam then the answer is almost surely no. When you buy through steam you do not buy the game, you but the rights to the game. This means you need to play it through steam so you can't simply copy it and give it to anyone you like.



If you bought it on CD it should be possible. I somehow doubt that is the case here though.
