Dawn of War is a Real Time Strategy (RTS) game for the PC. Its kind of like Command %26amp; Conquer or Warcraft where you build a base and create units to destroy the enemy base(s). It is indeed based on Warhammer 40K. The first Dawn of War had an original and 3 stand-alone expansions: Dawn of War, Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, %26amp; Soulstorm. It featured Space Marines, Chaos, Eldar, Orks, Imperial Guard (added in Winter Assault), Tau (added in Dark Crusade), Necrons (Dark Crusade), Dark Eldar (added in Soulstorm), %26amp; Witch Hunters (Soulstorm).
Dawn of War II came out last month and is the same concept but a little different in gameplay and updated graphics.
You can buy it at Amazon.com, Best Buy, EBGames, Walmart...anywhere that sells PC games. Downloading games is illegal and I do not recommend it, especially since it takes a LONG time and many download sites are unreliable and filled with virus-laden corrupted files.
