Is the game warhammer 40000 dawn of war 2 is similar to warcraft 3?

i want to know that warhammer 40000 dawn of war 2 is similar to warcraft 3?? coz i played warcraft 3 and i like it so much....so i just want to know that the gameplay style of warhammer dawn of war 2 is similar to warcraft 3?
